Rose is the matriarch of the Gumbo family. She's a housewife, or in today's terms, a "domestic goddess." She spends the majority of her time tending to the ins and outs of taking care of her home and being a good mother to Pasquale. But when daily life gets a bit too mundane, Rose slips into one of her other two personas. One is that of an adventurous biker chick -- one who lives on the edge and takes all those risks that you can't quite get away with as a housewife. The other is the little girl reminiscent of the child that can be found inside of all of us -- finding immense pleasure in the simpler things in life -- like gummy bears. But when she's at home with Jimbo, her husband, she takes the time to nurture their relationship - reminding all of us how wonderful our relationships with that special someone are.
